The Origins of Identity Theft

Identity Theft is considered by many as one of the fastest growing crimes world wide. It is based on the recent statistics it is found out to be much common compared to decades before. This is made possible through the rampant use of internet. With several cases that involves piracy and identity theft for the past few centuries; it may be hard to think that the history of identity theft is young. Even before the era of technology, majority of thieves have to make a hard living and have to go out and snatch someone’s belongings and money.
